Waltham Windmill Golf Course offers an exciting and challenging
round of golf in a beautiful landscaped setting in 125 acres of Lincolnshire
countryside. Natural springs have enabled the course to become a mixture of
interesting water features in a parkland setting. The course was constructed
in the summer of 1995 to the highest standard, with large greens and tees to
full USGA specification. It was designed in conjunction with European Tour Professional
Jim Payne and measures over 6400 yards with a par of 71. Having a mixture of
long par 5s and with water featuring on many of the holes, the course provides
a good test of golf for both low and high handicap golfers. The course also
features a state of the art irrigation system which combined with excellent
drainage ensures all year round play. The club also has its own 270 yard long
practice ground together with four practice target greens and a bunker.
